Dennis M. Morris is a numbers guy. As the Chief Actuary for MBS Financial, he is responsible for consulting with major corporations in areas of actuarial liability calculations, executive compensation and benefits.
Before joining the MBS Financial team in 2014, Dennis was a Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary for MullinTBG. Prior to that, he was a Vice President and member of Watson Wyatt Worldwide Board of Directors. He has worked with organizations in the manufacturing, retail, energy, health care, entertainment, financial services, technology, utility, hospitality, transportation and public sectors on a wide range of Human Resources issues. Dennis has conducted studies involving the design, administration, financing and communication of employee benefit programs, which include both qualified and non-qualified benefit plans and health and welfare plans.
Dennis received his degree in Mathematics, Physics and Geophysics from Texas Tech University. Dennis’ professional affiliations include Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and he is an enrolled actuary pursuant to the provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). In his free time, Dennis enjoys playing golf, and is an active member in the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westlake Village, CA. He is also an amateur filmmaker, and enjoys studying derivatives (which are complicated financial instruments).
